Springbrook Expands in Central New York with New Syracuse Office

Posted on October 20, 2025

Syracuse, NY - Springbrook, one of New York State’s leading providers of services for people with developmental disabilities, is proud to announce the opening of its new Syracuse office, located inside the Parthenon Book Store at 115 East Jefferson Street. The expansion marks an exciting milestone in Springbrook’s ongoing mission to provide exceptional, person-centered support across the state.

Springbrook’s Syracuse operations bring together a unique blend of Self-Direction, Housing Navigation, and Employment Services designed to empower people to live more independent and fulfilling lives. With over 15 years of experience helping individuals and families build the life they want, Springbrook has earned its reputation as a trusted partner in New York’s Self-Direction Services (SDS) community.

“This new space is more than just an address, it’s a statement,” said Patricia Kennedy, Chief Executive Officer of Springbrook. “By establishing a presence in the heart of Syracuse, we’re strengthening our relationships and expanding opportunities for people to connect with the resources they need, right where they live and work.”

The office opening reflects Springbrook’s ongoing commitment to building meaningful connections across New York State. From programs that provide immersive experiences for Commonspace residents to the InclusiveU program partnership with Syracuse University, Springbrook continues to develop innovative initiatives that promote independence, inclusion, and growth.

“Springbrook has deep roots in Upstate New York, and this new office represents the next chapter in our expansion,” said Kimberly Corbett, Executive Director of Springbrook Community Connections, “Our Syracuse location will allow our Self-Directed Services staff to be even more accessible and responsive to the people and families we serve in Onondaga County.”

Springbrook’s new office will serve as a central hub for Self-Directed Services, providing a welcoming space for individuals, families, and community partners to connect, collaborate, and plan for the future. The organization’s continued expansion across New York reflects its mission: to provide exceptional, person-centered services that promotes independence, personal growth, and nurtures a sense of belonging.
