Stark Tech supports Philadelphia artist Chris B. Murray’s plan to paint a mural of Jim Boeheim, longtime Syracuse University basketball coach, in downtown Syracuse at 215 W. Fayette St.

The design shows Boeheim with both arms raised high in triumph, alongside other iconic depictions of him coaching through the years. The Dome is featured below, as it looked during most of Boeheim’s tenure.

Murray, originally from Potsdam, N.Y., worked for several Philadelphia sports teams since he moved there in 2008. The Philadelphia 76ers are among his clients. But he’s been a lifelong fan of the Syracuse Orange, and always wanted to create a piece honoring Boeheim.

Murray’s next step is to acquire funding for the mural. A GoFundMe to help make the mural a reality. $90,000 is needed to get the project going. You can donate to the GoFundMe at this link.
