SUNY Oswego Invites Community for Cruisin’ the Campus

A variety of recreational activities, athletic events, nature programs, tours and more invite the community to the SUNY Oswego campus for the Winter Break Cruisin’ the Campus from Dec. 26, 2024, to Jan. 5, 2024.

Events will include:

  • Open recreation including open skating in the Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall (from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 23, 26, 27 and 30), open gym in Lee Hall (noon to 4 p.m., Dec. 23, 26, 27 and 30, and Jan. 2 and 3) and Lee Hall pool hours 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 23 and Jan. 2 and 3) 
  • Open trail hours at Rice Creek Field Station (7 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. daily from Dec. 26 to Jan. 5), a First-Day Hike (11 a.m. on Jan. 1), Junior Naturalist Program on Feathered Friends (10 a.m. Jan. 4) and Winter Bird Walk (1 p.m. Jan. 4)
  • Open hours for Penfield Library (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 30 and 31, and Jan. 2 and 3)
  • Shineman Greenhouse tours (1 to 5 p.m. Dec. 27 and Jan. 1)

Laker student-athletes will be in action with the following home athletics games (details and tickets available via tickets.oswego.edu):

  • The Oswego Holiday Tournament for men's hockey, sponsored by Clarion and Best Western (7 p.m. Jan. 3 vs. Neumann and 4 p.m. Jan. 4 vs. TBD)
  • Women’s basketball (1 p.m. vs. Middlebury
