Terakeet Names CNY Local Amy Hatch as Sr. Director of Content

Posted on June 28, 2020

Syracuse, NY (June 24 2020): Terakeet, an enterprise search engine technology company headquartered in Syracuse, recently hired Amy Hatch as Sr. Director of Content.

Hatch hails from Rochester and comes to Terakeet most recently from CVS, where she served as the Sr. Director of Content Strategy. Prior to that, Hatch held positions at Marketo and SAP, serving as the Head of Content Strategy and Global Head of Content Marketing, respectively.

Hatch’s background is varied, blending bootstrapping sites and ascending the corporate ladder through concrete results. She cut her teeth as a reporter in the newspaper business before launching a popular mom blog. Her keen instinct for content and engagement supported a thriving ten years of freelancing for brands like AOL, Johnson& Johnson, Meredith Corp., Huffington Post, and more.

She was hired by SAP to oversee the content strategy for its customer experience business unit, which she transformed into an award-winning content engine complete with a multitalented team of content creators. The SAP results were impressive enough to draw recruiters from Marketo/Adobe, as well as CVS, both fantastic companies and juicy opportunities; however, Amy's Western New York roots called her.

“We’re really excited to have Amy join the Terakeet team. I'm thrilled that our colleagues and clients get the opportunity to work with such an incredible, industry-leader in content marketing,” says Mark Kennedy, Terakeet’s President.

Hatch’s immediate objectives as Sr. Director of Content include assuming responsibility for Terakeet's Content Marketing practice inclusive of overall quality, editorial, workflow, cross-discipline integration, and Content team development. Amy will also be a member of Terakeet's Leadership Team.

Joining Terakeet and fully ensconcing her family in NY is a dream come true for Hatch. She says, "My career is rooted in creating—from content to teams. I will come in on cat's feet but will also bring every experience at the enterprise level I've had the luck to engage in, the good, the bad and the ugly because we learn from success and failure."

Amy is the patron saint of losing sports teams (Go Bills!) and lives in Rochester with her husband, Channing, and kids, Emmie, 15, and Henry, 11. Her misplaced love of Crocs is the subject of much amusement to her friends and occasionally erupts into a Twitter war.

About Terakeet: Terakeet is an enterprise search engine technology company that leverages 20+ years of expertise to serve global brands. Backed by its best-in-class proprietary technology, Terakeet earns significant organic search engine visibility in highly competitive categories for Fortune 1000 companies and other global brands by applying the perfect mix of on- and off-page optimization, strategic outreach, and content strategy.
