Terra offers Free Innovation Education

Terra Science and Education is thrilled to share that Invention Convention New York (IC-NY) has officially joined Invention Convention Worldwide as an affiliate, expanding opportunities for young innovators across our state! 💡

At its core, IC-NY empowers K–12 students to become inventors, entrepreneurs, and problem-solvers by creating cardboard prototypes to prove the concept. Through our FREE Invention Education Curriculum and FREE professional development for educators, we support invention learning anywhere—
- schools
- after-school programs
- summer camps
- homeschool environments

In just 8–9 weeks, students identify a problem they care about, create an innovation, and develop a compelling pitch. Along the way, they build critical skills in creativity, engineering, entrepreneurship, and communication. They will even have the opportunity to submit a patent application; more than 40 kids nationwide already have one.

Students then have the chance to showcase their work at regional, state, and national Invention Conventions, joining a global community of young changemakers.
