Kevin Joy appointed assistant vice president and wealth advisor in the Central New York region

ITHACA, NEW YORK (February 6, 2024) – Embracing new growth in the Central New York market, Tompkins Financial Advisors has welcomed Kevin Joy to its team as a wealth advisor. Joy comes to the Tompkins team with over 14 years of experience in the financial industry and will help the company build on the strong relationships it holds with existing and potential clients while working to exceed clients' unique goals.

Throughout his career, Joy has served as vice president of investor relations for institutions such as HPS Investment Partners and Antares Capital in New York. He has led both firms' largest institutional investors, including clients with billion-dollar global portfolios, maintaining strong relationships and acting as a specialist for billion-dollar global public credit strategies. Joy also served as a leader and mentor for junior team members on the investor relations teams. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the School of Management at Binghamton University with a concentration in Finance.

Joy currently resides in the Syracuse, New York area with his wife and their young children. Outside of the workplace, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, while also exploring the outdoors, playing golf, and other sports.
