Turning Stone to Celebrate Grand Opening of NY Rec & Social Club, its Modern Sports Lounge and Nightlife Venue

Grand opening week is overflowing with festivities for guests to experience Upstate New York’s new hotspot, including themed daily events, ticket giveaways, watch parties for the week’s biggest college and NFL games, food and beverage specials and more. Oneida Indian Nation Homelands (December 14, 2023) – On Monday, December 18, Turning Stone Resort Casino will officially open NY Rec & Social Club, its spectacular new sports lounge and nightlife venue. In honor of the new opening, Turning Stone today announced plans for a week packed with grand opening festivities, including themed daily events, ticket giveaways, watch parties for the week’s biggest college and NFL games, food and beverage specials and more. The modern lounge and sports book in the Exit 33 entertainment complex is three experiences in one:  One part sports heaven. One part gastropub. One part nightlife club. 

Grand Opening Week at NY Rec & Social Club will feature a series of themed events for guests to experience the new hotspot in a variety of ways, including Monday Night Huddle, Rock N’ Roll Bingo on Tuesday, Trivia Night on Wednesday, Tournament Thursdays and more. Guests can win a variety of prizes and giveaways throughout the week including tickets to sporting events around New York, including the New York Knicks, New York Yankees and Buffalo Sabres.

A grand-prize drawing on opening night will award one lucky winner a sports-centered trip to New York City to see the Knicks play in Madison Square Garden, complete with transportation and overnight hotel accommodations. NY Rec & Social Club’s newly crowned Resident DJs will also be spinning throughout the week on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

On Thursday, December 21, SHOUT! A Buffalo Bills Podcast with hosts Matt Parrino and Ryan Talbot will broadcast live from inside NY Rec & Social Club, previewing the Week 16 showdown between the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Charges at SoFi Stadium.

NY Rec & Social Club is the ultimate sports lounge and nightlife hotspot featuring 62 televisions and a center bar featuring a massive three-story tower, which can be divided into six individual screens and display up to 24 different games at once. From the top of the bar to the ceiling, the tower is covered with a mind-bending 5,275 square feet of prime LED screens for the ultimate sports viewing experience. NY Rec & Social Club is also the main headquarters for the all-new TS Sports, Turning Stone’s new sports book.

The new lounge also offers table games, including blackjack and craps, and social games such as foosball, billiards, air hockey and darts.
