Turning Stone Enterprises Honors 300 Team Members for Major Milestone Employment Anniversaries

Turning Stone Enterprises’ team members celebrating milestone anniversaries for 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years of service gathered at Turning Stone Resort Casino this week in recognition of their service and commitment. As honorees spoke about their careers throughout the evening, a recurring theme centered on being part of an organization that invests in its workforce and is constantly looking forward.

Oneida Indian Nation Homelands (October 26, 2023) – This week, Turning Stone Enterprises hosted its annual White Pine Gala in recognition of team members celebrating milestone anniversaries with 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years of service. More than 300 team members were honored during the gala, representing more than 5,200 years of combined experience within the organization and countless relationships spanning more than 20 properties.

More than 50 departments across the Oneida Indian Nation’s enterprises and governmental operations were represented among the 300 team members recognized during the event, including team members from gaming, housekeeping, environmental services, spa services, culinary, healthcare, childcare, human resources, finance, legal and many more.

Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Turning Stone Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter offered remarks during the White Pine Gala, thanking those honored for their outstanding contributions throughout their careers and especially as the organization looks forward to the next 30 years.

“These milestone anniversaries represent more than just a number, they represent the collective efforts, sacrifices and commitment of team members who have been the foundation of our success from the very beginning,” said Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Turning Stone Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter. “We are proud to be an organization that does not just create jobs, we create careers that span decades. We are grateful to our team for their invaluable contributions throughout the years.”

As different White Pine Gala honorees spoke about their years with Turning Stone Enterprises, a recurring theme in their remarks centered on growth and innovation. Already one of the largest employers in Upstate New York, this summer the Oneida Indian Nation announced a $370 million evolution of Turning Stone, the largest expansion of the resort ever. The evolution includes the addition of NY REC & Social Club, a new nightlife and sports lounge destination.

Scheduled to celebrate its grand opening on December 6, NY REC & Social Club will be the first venue to open as part of Turning Stone’s Evolution and represents the most significant addition to the Exit 33 entertainment complex since Turning Stone opened it 10 years ago. The new entertainment venue will combine a sophisticated restaurant lounge with a traditional sports book, offering a speakeasy vibe that is energetic and designed to be a fun place to socialize with friends. With plans to be open seven days a week, NY REC & Social Club is hiring for several full- and part-time positions, including bartenders, cooks and servers. Candidates interested in being part of NY REC & Social Club’s grand opening team can apply online  at turningstoneenterprises.com/careers
