Our annual United for Moms drive kicks off on April 1st and runs through May 3rd. We will be collecting personal and self-care items that will be packaged and given to women in our local shelters and residence programs in advance of Mother’s Day. There are many ways to support the drive including dropping items off at participating COR, Community Bank, and OneGroup locations, hosting a workplace drive at your place of employment, shopping through our Amazon gift list, and supporting monetarily. More information about United for Moms can be found at www.unitedformoms.com.
The rivalry is renewed! Don’t miss the Bravest vs. Finest basketball game on Friday, April 17 at Henninger High School, as members of the Syracuse Fire Department and Syracuse Police Department play in a friendly, yet competitive basketball matchup in support of United Way of Central New York.
Doors open at 5:30 PM, with tip-off scheduled for 6:30 PM.
Tickets are just $10 per person. Children 5 and under can attend for free. Get your tickets here!
You’re invited to an unforgettable evening of theater and community impact. On April 21, Broadway for United Way presents the hit musical & Juliet at the Landmark Theatre.
Your Exclusive Opening Night Experience Includes:
• Private Pre-Show Reception: Enjoy complimentary cocktails and hors d'oeuvres before the curtain rises.
• Prime Seating: Experience the show from some of the best seats in the house.
• A New Kind of Love Story: Watch Juliet trade her "famous ending" for a fresh beginning, set to a soundtrack of iconic pop anthems including: “Since U Been Gone,” “Larger Than Life,” “…Baby One More Time,” “I Want It That Way,” “It’s Gonna Be Me,” “Roar,” “It’s My Life,” “That’s The Way It Is,” and more.
Support the United Way and witness the show that reimagines everything you know about Shakespeare. The only thing tragic would be missing out.
Tickets are $150 each – which includes admission to the pre-show reception and one ticket to the show.
