June 29, 2026—Syracuse, NY: The Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology (MOST) unveiled its newly renovated Dino Zone exhibit, presented by M&T Bank, on Friday, June 26. The exhibit has been one of the museum’s most popular attractions since it opened in 2018. The updated Dino Zone includes new interactive features exploring the history of our planet during the reign of the dinosaurs and the plants and wildlife of the Cretaceous Period. Guests can piece together foam dinosaur bones at the Dino Dig Site, climb on two different dinosaur models for photo opportunities, dress up like a paleontologist or archaeologist, and scale the brand-new Earth’s layers climbing wall. Additional components include rock & fossil ID stations, two new dinosaur skeleton models, and fossil cases with real dinosaur bones and footprints.

The exhibit retains the large-scale Albertosaurus and Euoplocephalus dinosaurs, T. Rex head, dinosaur egg photo spot, and the freshwater ocellate river stingray tank with ray sisters Sven and Pancake.

“Dino Zone captures the imagination of guests, transporting them back millions of years to the time of the dinosaurs,” said MOST President Lauren Kochian. “We are thrilled to bring an even more hands-on and engaging experience to visitors, and I’m so excited to see how much fun families are having with the new features. Thanks to our partnership with M&T Bank, the new Dino Zone will definitely be a favorite of guests for years to come.”

Presenting sponsor M&T Bank commented, “M&T Bank is proud to support immersive learning experiences while helping ensure more families can discover, learn & play together. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the community by connecting people with interactive, educational opportunities that inspire curiosity and discovery.”
