M&T Bank Names New Business Banking Leaders in Central New York
M&T Bank has promoted Dave Dreverman and Hilarie Lynn to Senior Vice President, Business Banking Team Leaders, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to supporting businesses and communities across Central New York. In their new roles, Dave and Hilarie will lead teams focused on strengthening client relationships, delivering tailored financial solutions and driving sustainable growth throughout the region. Dave will oversee business banking sales and relationship managers across Syracuse and Binghamton, while Hilarie will lead the bank’s business banking efforts across the Syracuse area, Oneida County and Herkimer County, including the Utica and Rome markets.
About Dave Dreverman
Dave Dreverman is an accomplished banking leader who consistently delivers results across retail and business banking sectors, while exceeding loan, deposit, cash management and revenue goals. As Senior Vice President, Business Banking Team Leader at M&T Bank, he is responsible for leading high-performing teams, expanding market presence and supporting clients with customized financial solutions.
Prior to this promotion, Dave served as Senior Business Banking Relationship Manager II, managing a portfolio of top revenue-producing commercial clients while structuring solutions aligned with both client objectives and the bank’s risk framework. He has also played a significant role in mentoring colleagues, coaching relationship managers and advancing strategic initiatives across the organization.
Earlier in his career, Dave served as a Senior Branch Manager at M&T, where he successfully led multiple retail locations, revitalized underperforming branches and guided teams through mergers and acquisitions as a conversion specialist. His early experience with New York Life and NYLIFE Securities further strengthened his expertise in financial planning and client advisory services.
Dave’s leadership extends beyond the bank. He serves as a board member for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central New York and is actively involved in numerous internal leadership initiatives at M&T Bank, including training, coaching and innovation-focused programs.
About Hilarie Lynn
Hilarie Lynn is an accomplished business banking leader with extensive experience in relationship management, team development and market growth. As Senior Vice President, Business Banking Team Leader at M&T Bank, she is responsible for leading relationship managers, reinforcing sales discipline and expanding the bank’s presence across the Utica, Rome and Mohawk Valley markets.
Prior to her promotion, Hilarie served as Vice President, Business Banking Senior Relationship Manager at M&T Bank, where she managed and grew a large portfolio of commercial loan and deposit relationships. She has served as a trusted advisor to business owners and community members, developing sound credit solutions to meet client needs. Hilarie has consistently delivered strong sales performance, earning recognition from the bank’s President’s Council.
Hilarie has held several other leadership positions at M&T, including Senior Branch Manager, leading branch performance and supporting customer retention, acquisition and growth goals. She began her career with M&T Bank nearly 20 years ago as a teller before advancing through roles including Relationship Banker and participant in the bank’s Management Development Program, building a strong foundation in customer service, sales and leadership that has supported her growth across the organization.
Hilarie is deeply engaged in her community, supporting organizations across the region. She serves as Board Secretary and Treasurer for the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of the Mohawk Valley and has also held several roles within the United Way of the Mohawk Valley, including board membership and participation on the Resource Development Committee. Hilarie is a graduate of Leadership Mohawk Valley and was recognized as a Central New York Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree in 2024.
