This is CNY is a website and marketing initiative by Advance Media New York, developed in partnership with CenterState CEO, that celebrates the people, places, innovation and opportunity across the Syracuse and Central New York region. It shares stories about the area's culture and quality of life, businesses, neighborhoods, schools and new, emerging job opportunities for job seekers in and outside the region.
This is CNY also serves as a workforce development tool to attract skilled professionals to the area - a joint project with CenterState CEO and Advance Media New York, supported by funding from dozens of corporate partners vested in bringing new talent to the region.
Visitors can search job openings across the region and join the talent network for free to post a resume and connect with hiring managers. The talent network allows candidates to connect with Central New York employers and share information about their experiences and career interests.
