CenterState CEO Staff Named to Syracuse Mayor-Elect Sharon Owens

Three CenterState CEO staff members will serve on Syracuse Mayor-Elect Sharon Owens' transition team. CenterState CEO President and CEO Rob Simpson is one of five transition team co-chairs. Simpson and the other co-chairs will oversee transition team committees tasked with identifying and implementing strategies that advance Mayor-Elect Owen's platform. The six transition committees are: Thriving Neighborhoods, Public Safety, GenNEXT, Inclusive and Growing Economy, Financial Sustainabilty, and Big Things Ahead.
Senior Vice President of Racial Equity and Social Impact Juhanna Rogers will serve as a co-chair of the GenNEXT Committee. This committee is focused on the needs of children, teenagers and young adults and helping to create pathways to success.
Interim Senior Vice President of Strategy, Policy and Planning Kevin Schwab will serve as the Big Things Ahead committee chair. The Big Things Ahead committee is dedicated to the transformational projects on the city's horizon, such as the Interstate 81 project, the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) school, and Micron's investment in Central New York.
