The Businesses with Fewer than 50 Employees category celebrates companies and organizations that have experienced growth and strong financial performance, innovated with new products and technologies, grown customers and excelled in customer satisfaction, and are an employer of choice in Central New York. They also demonstrate community leadership, and prioritize diversity, equity and inclusion efforts within the organization or community.

Join us at the 2024 Annual Meeting at the Oncenter on Thursday, April 11 to celebrate all the finalists, and see who wins!

325 Productions

325 Productions produces videos for some of the largest employers in Syracuse and has completed videos for a range of clients, from the Mayor of Syracuse to the president and CEO of Pixar in California. Its mission is to help the local community grow and to attract new talent to the area through the power of video. In 2023, 325 Productions added two members to its team and it has continued to see a steady increase in its fiscal performance over the past three years. Its 325 Gives Back campaign provides up to $25,000 of its services to nonprofits like A Tiny Home for Good.

Drakos Dynamics

Drakos Dynamics provides after-hours urgent care services that includes treating basic and moderate injuries and illnesses as well as onsite radiology, advanced onsite laboratory service, ADHD screening and wellness services for patients of all ages. In May 2023, Drakos opened the only standalone pediatric urgent care in the Central New York area at Clay Medical Center in Liverpool to address the lack of accessible after-hours pediatric care for children and their families in the area. Following patient demand, Drakos opened a second urgent care location in Cicero that serves patients of all ages.

Potter Heating & AC - Perrone Plumbing Services

Potter Heating & AC - Perrone Plumbing Services has served Syracuse, New York and the surrounding communities with top-quality plumbing, heating, and cooling services since 1944. The company’s newly formed Design-Build subsidiary, MNS-KJE JV, Inc., was awarded a $150 million five-year federal contract in June 2023. To accommodate the growth, Potter Heating & AC - Perrone Plumbing Services added nine employees and 3,000 square feet of new office space. It was also featured in Forbes, Fortune and Entrepreneur Magazine and on Bloomberg TV’s "The World's Best” program.

ResilienX is a software company producing safety assurance solutions for highly automated and autonomous ecosystems. The company’s software platform monitors the heath, integrity and performance of the systems involved in scaled Beyond Visual Line of Sight operations, enabling organizations to meet the FAA’s requirements around associated elements. Resilienx is technology startup that has more than doubled its revenue in the past year and became the first GENIUS NY company to receive investment from NY Ventures Seed Match Program. It was recently selected by AFWERX and NASA as the prime contractor for an Advanced Air Mobility Operations Center at the Syracuse Hancock International Airport.
