Congratulations 2024 Business of the Year Finalists: Nonprofit!
The Nonprofit category acknowledges organizations that demonstrate a strong commitment to service, financial stewardship, innovation, workplace initiatives, excellence in client/customer service and community impact. Additionally, they value diversity, equity and inclusion within the organization or community.

Catholic Charities of Onondaga CountyCatholic Charities of Onondaga County (CCOC) is dedicated to caring for those in need while promoting human development, collaboration, and the elimination of poverty and injustice. This year, CCOC invested $13.9 million in the community by building a new Housing Services Center that includes a men’s shelter and a clinic for health and mental health care. CCOC celebrated its 100th year of services in 2023. |

ConnextCareConnextCare is a Federally Qualified Health Center providing a family-oriented health care for Oswego and surrounding county residents for over 50 years. It offers pediatrics, internal and family medicine, substance use disorder treatment, mental health services and oral health services. In 2023 it successfully secured new grants to address unmet health care needs in Oswego County, and advanced innovative approaches to reducing barriers to accessing care for vulnerable patients. |

Food Bank of Central New YorkFood Bank of Central New York is leading the effort to eliminate hunger in the region by partnership with others in the community, through education, advocacy, and distribution of nutritious food. During 2023, the Food Bank distributed more than 20 million pounds of food and 327,466 pounds of hygiene and household items to partner agencies and households facing hunger throughout an 11-county service area. |

Housing VisionsHousing Visions is committed to going beyond bricks and mortar affordable housing development through an approach that utilizes case management, outreach, navigation, networking, empowerment, community and trust. Its goal is to increase housing stability and resident well-being through a holistic case management approach that creates places of pride and belonging. This year, Housing Visions completed Moyer Carriage Lofts, the largest development in organizational history. |
