Jan. 27 through Feb. 29, 2024
In partnership with the Rescue Mission, CenterState CEO is hosting the 10th annual Mark J. Palumbo Memorial Clothing Drive in honor of Nancy Premo. This clothing drive was started by CenterState CEO’s late Vice President of Human Resources Nancy Premo in memory of her son, Mark, who lost his life Jan. 27, 2014 from hypothermia. Each January, she worked with local businesses and partners to collect warm clothing and gear to help prevent others from losing their lives due to exposure.
With an ongoing need in the community and much more winter still ahead, CenterState CEO is calling on its staff, members and others in the community to join us as we collect donations of coats, boots, hats, scarves, gloves, socks and other warm clothing. Other opportunities to support this initiative through direct donations and online purchases are included below.
Ways to Give
- Bring gently used items, such as winter coats, hats, sweatshirts, gloves, scarves, sweaters and warm socks to CenterState CEO's offices, any of this year's participating drop-off locations (listed below), or any Rescue Mission drop-off location.
- Donate directly to the Rescue Mission, which will go toward the purchase of warm clothing items in support of this initiative.
- Purchase new winter gear and other items via the Rescue Mission’s Amazon Wish List.
- Host a donation drop off location at your place of business! Contact Mackenzie.Naum@rmsyr.org to set this up!
