Bridge to Manufacturing Careers hosted the graduation ceremony for its second cohort at SUNY EOC this week. The program is a partnership between CenterState CEO, Westcott Community Center, North Side Learning Center, SUNY EOC, Blueprint 15, On Point for College and Onondaga Community College to help Central New Yorkers from underrepresented backgrounds access higher education opportunities that can lead to careers in advanced manufacturing. Participants explore careers in the advanced manufacturing fields, connect to necessary supports and develop skills needed to succeed in OCC's Electromechanical Technology A.A.S degree program. Nine people graduated from this most recent cohort, all with plans to enroll at OCC in the near future.
