Economist: 2018 will be Central NY's best since Great Recession

Salina, N.Y. -- The Central New York economy still trails much of the nation's, but 2018 should be one of its best years in nearly a decade, an economist told more than 600 people at CenterState CEO's annual Economic Forecast Breakfast Wednesday.

"By and large, I'm excited about 2018, like I haven't been throughout this entire nine-year journey that we've been on since the end of the Great Recession," M&T Bank regional economist Gary Keith said at the event at the Holiday Inn Syracuse...
