Saab, Inc. Opens New Facility in East Syracuse

CenterState CEO Chief Executive Officer Rob Simpson joined Saab, Inc. officials at a ribbon cutting event for the opening of Saab, Inc.'s new 50,000 square-foot facility at Aspen Park in East Syracuse. Central New York has served as Saab, Inc.'s North American headquarters since 2016, and this new facility demonstrates Saab's continued investment in the region. At the event, Simpson spoke with CNY Central about why this new facility is important to the region:

"This is a world-leading company that can choose to invest its capital anywhere in the world and they're choosing to bring more employees to Syracuse and Central New York communities," said Simpson. "That's a win for our region and it's a win for our country."

He added, "What's built and manufactured here are critically important products for our national security and we couldn't be more proud to host it here in Central New York."
