Syracuse, NY – March 16, 2025 – The inaugural Central New York 40 Over 40 Awards has already made waves in the community, selling out ahead of its much-anticipated celebration on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at The Treasury at the Palladian in Syracuse. This groundbreaking initiative recognizes accomplished professionals over the age of 40 who continue to drive innovation, leadership and social impact across Central New York.

An Esteemed List of Honorees

The first class of CNY 40 Over 40 honorees include leaders, visionaries, and changemakers spanning multiple sectors, from business and government to education, health, and the arts. Names from CenterState CEO and the Upstate Minority Economic Alliance include:

  • Kevin Schwab – Vice President, Public Policy and Government Relations; Senior Aviation Industry Advisor, CenterState CEO
  • Dr. Emad Rahim – Syracuse Surge Entrepreneurship Manager, CenterState CEO
  • Jamar Clarke – Executive Director, Upstate Minority Economic Alliance

Individuals exemplify the resilience, ingenuity, and generosity that define Central New York.

Building a Lasting Legacy

Beyond the awards, this initiative sets the foundation for a long-term community ecosystem that values intergenerational mentorship, ongoing achievement, and collective progress.

“The 40 Over 40 Awards are the first step in rewriting the story of professional recognition in our region,” Coit emphasized. “We are creating a legacy where leadership, innovation, and impact continue well beyond age 40.”

As the sold-out event approaches, the excitement continues to build for what promises to be a landmark evening in Central New York’s history of celebrating excellence.

Nominations for the 2026 CNY 40 Over 40 Awards will open on January 1, 2026. Businesses interested in sponsorship opportunities can reach out to Lorelle Moore at [email protected].
