Congratulations 2024 Business of the Year Finalists: More Than 50 Employees!
The More Than 50 Employees category recognizes businesses that experienced growth and strong financial performance, innovated with new products and technologies, grown customers and excelled in customer satisfaction, and are an employer of choice in our region. They also demonstrate community leadership, and prioritize diversity, equity and inclusion efforts within the organization or community.

Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLCBond, Schoeneck & King PLLC is a law firm with more than 300 attorneys serving individuals, companies, nonprofits and public sector entities in a broad range of practice areas. Bond’s attorneys and staff recorded more than 2,200 hours of pro bono work in 2023, an increase of 985 hours over 2022. Also, Bond’s Syracuse office, in cooperation with Volunteer Lawyers Program of CNY (VLP CNY), has started a new Talk-to-a-Lawyer Clinic at Salt City Market on Salina Street in Syracuse, NY. Its staff also supports the Central New York community through direct involvement with more than 75 nonprofit organizations as board members or committee members.

Crouse HealthCrouse Health is a not-for-profit organization serving Central New York since 1887. In 2023, it hired more than 600, opened the Pomeroy College of Nursing in a new location, and was named one of 30 'most trusted' hospitals in the U.S. in 2023. Last year, it became the first and only hospital in Central New York to acquire the da Vinci Single Port robotic technology, making this program the largest robotic surgery service line in the region. Crouse celebrated 15,000 robotic surgery procedures, making Crouse the largest provider of robotic-assisted surgery in the region. |

The bank offers personalized service and exceptional responsiveness, while delivering a broad range of products and services for consumers and businesses. In 2023, Tompkins expanded further through a new branch in downtown Syracuse’s City Center building and business growth in and around the Binghamton region.

Woodford Bros., Inc.Woodford Bros., Inc. offers expert structural and foundation repair, crawl space repair, and basement waterproofing services. As a local, family-owned business, Woodford Bros focuses on helping customers maintain a secure foundation and a safe home, providing a personalized service. The company added 20 employees and a second location in Lafayette, New York. It has grown its sales team from 11 to 19 in one year, and added five additional installation crews. It also saw a significant increase in total revenue between 2022 to 2023. |
