Rickey Brown: Effective leadership is a matter of teamwork

Rickey Brown became executive director of the Upstate Minority Economic Alliance last summer. It is a regional Chamber of Commerce covering 16 Upstate New York counties. The Alliance is an affiliate of CenterState CEO.

Brown said the Alliance's mission is to support, mentor, and advance minority and women-owned businesses: "There are over 8,000 Latino and brown-owned businesses. That represents a huge opportunity for growth."...
