Syracuse Surge Accelerator Celebrates Five Teams Completing Yearlong Program

CenterState CEO and its partners celebrated the five teams that recently completed the Syracuse Surge Accelerator program during an event at Le Moyne College. The event featured pitch presentations by all five teams and a keynote address by Leigh-Ann Buchanan, Esq., President and CEO of Miami-Dade Innovation Authority.

One of the Surge Accelerator teams, Sign-Speak, and its technology was recently featured on CNY Central.

"Sign-Speak’s goal is to create AI solutions that empower deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals to interact freely. It enables a real-time conversation between someone who is deaf and someone who is not. No more misinterpretation, no more missed messages."
