Dannible & McKee Expands Tax Leadership With Promotion of Three New Partners

SYRACUSE, NY, July 1, 2025 – Dannible & McKee, LLP, a leading certified public accounting and consulting firm, is pleased to announce the promotions of three professionals to partner in the firm’s tax department, effective July 1, 2025.

Sean R. Conners, CPA, and Kaitlyn L. Mariano, CPA, have been named tax partners in the Syracuse, New York office, and Anthony J. Cerchia, CPA, has been promoted to tax partner in the Tampa, Florida office.

“Anthony, Sean, and Kaitlyn have each demonstrated outstanding commitment, leadership and technical performance throughout their careers with the firm,” said Christopher Didio, CPA, CFE, managing partner at Dannible & McKee. “We are proud to welcome them as partners and confident in their continued contributions to our clients and the firm’s long-term growth.”

Conners began his career with Dannible & McKee as a tax intern in 2016 and joined full-time in 2017. He has nine years of experience in individual, corporate and trust/estate taxation and tax planning, and specializes in multi-state taxation. His industry focus includes manufacturing and automotive. Conners is a CPA in New York and a member of the AICPA, the NYSSCPA and the Estate Planning Council of Central New York. He graduated from Le Moyne College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA in 2016.

Mariano has been with the firm since 2012 and brings deep expertise in tax compliance and planning. She focuses on serving clients in the construction and manufacturing sectors, as well as multi-state entities and high-net-worth individuals. She is a licensed CPA in New York and is a member of the AICPA and the NYSSCPA. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting and MBA from Le Moyne College in 2012. In addition to her professional work, she is deeply involved in the community, serving as treasurer of both County North Children’s Center, Inc. and Eye Got This, Inc.

Cerchia joined Dannible & McKee’s Syracuse office in 2017 and has since played a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s footprint in Florida, leading the establishment of its Tampa office in 2024. He specializes in tax planning and compliance, with a concentration in the automotive, construction, healthcare and manufacturing industries. He also provides ownership transition strategies for a variety of clients. Cerchia is licensed as a CPA in both New York and Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting, cum laude, from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Oneonta, in 2016.
