Hancock Estabrook, LLP is pleased to announce that Partner James J. O’Shea has accepted an invitation to join the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), the preeminent invitation-only global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests.
Mr. O’Shea focuses his practice on complex civil litigation in federal and New York State courts representing clients in sophisticated corporate disputes including dissolutions of both public and private entities, shareholder derivative suits, bankruptcy and restructuring matters, construction litigation, environmental (CERCLA) litigation, fiduciary/estate litigation, and defense of personal injury claims. In an advisory role, Mr. O’Shea often provides counsel to the Firm’s clients regarding risk management, employment, tax, corporate organization and dispute resolution prior to litigation.
