Innovating for the Future: Arnoff Appoints New VP to Executive Committee
Syracuse, NY — As Arnoff Moving & Storage approaches its 102nd year as a family-owned and operated company, the organization continues to build on a legacy of trust and care while preparing for its next phase of growth. Now in its fifth generation of family ownership, Arnoff has doubled in size over the past five years and has set a goal to double again over the next five—without compromising the personalized service that has defined the company for more than a century.
To support this growth, Arnoff is pleased to announce the promotion of Chris Haig to the newly created role of Vice President of Business Information Systems and Data Analytics. Haig will join the Arnoff Executive Committee, reflecting the company’s belief that technology should enhance its people-first culture and strengthen the customer experience.
Unlike traditional IT roles, this position is focused on operational efficiency, data connectivity, and practical tools that support employees across all divisions of Arnoff’s moving, storage, and logistics operations. The goal is to ensure teams can work seamlessly together to deliver the attentive, professional service customers expect when they trust the Arnoff name.
A 12-year Arnoff veteran, Haig brings deep operational expertise and institutional knowledge to the role. He previously served as Operations Manager and most recently as General Manager of Arnoff’s Final Mile Home Delivery business unit, which he built and scaled from the ground up. In addition, Haig is a military veteran, having served in the United States Coast Guard from 1995 to 2001—an experience that shaped his leadership approach, discipline, and commitment to service.
In his new role, Haig will focus on maximizing the value of Arnoff’s business systems to support growth and cost management, breaking down data silos between departments, and leading training and technology adoption initiatives that simplify daily work and support employees at every level.
As Arnoff looks ahead, the company remains committed to the values that have guided it for more than 100 years—treating customers like family and investing in the people and tools needed to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
