GENIUS NY Semifinalist Featured in Syracuse.com "Conversation on Leadership" Series

Justin Call, CEO of Modovolo and current GENIUS NY semifinalist, was featured in the latest "Conversations on Leadership" series from Syracuse.com. Call and his co-founder Arion Mangio launched Modovolo in early 2024 with the goal of building an enduring, decentralized and autonomous company and ecosystem and democratizing flight.
Call previously wrote about how Central New York is the "center of the drone universe" for Commercial UAV News. He discusses this again with Syracuse.com:
"...There are tons of companies that have spun off from these things that are basically mapping out how drones will be managed throughout the world, like NUAIR (the nonprofit building the drone ecosystem) and ResilienX (traffic management technology). We’ve got the people who are defining that universe. That’s all here."
Modovolo is one of 11 semifinalists for the most recent round of GENIUS NY, operated by CenterState CEO. The yearlong accelerator will announce the five finalists for Cohort 9 later this month.
