Syracuse Build Hosts Construction Careers Information Session During Micron Community Week

Syracuse Build supported by CenterState CEO, with NYS Department of Labor and CNY Works, hosted one of two information sessions for those interested in jobs in construction and building trades during Micron CNY Community Week. Representatives from CenterState CEO, Micron Technology, Gilbane Construction, regional trade unions and the NYS Department of Labor shared information with attendees about current and future opportunities. CenterState CEO's Director of Industry Partnerships for Construction Danielle Szabo presented to attendees and discussed what it's like to work in the skilled trades, the growing demand for workers, and importance of finding the right next step, whether that is immediate union opportunities or training programs that build toward them.
