Tompkins Trust Company to Host Retirement Planning Seminar

ITHACA– Tompkins Trust Company is committed to meeting the needs of its customers and the communities it serves throughout various stages of life. Because of this commitment, Tompkins Trust Company will be hosting a virtual retirement planning seminar on Tuesday, July 27 from 12PM to 1PM to provide valuable information on evaluating retirement plans and ensuring enough is being put aside to cover expenses in retirement. The seminar, which is open to all, will provide essential resources to help attendees assess their current plans, or get started with a new plan.

Greg Hartz, President and CEO of Tompkins Trust Company, shared “We are pleased to offer this seminar to help our customers and non-customers strategically and successfully plan ahead for retirement.” Hartz added, “Tompkins Trust Company is committed to the well-being of the communities in which we operate and this is one critical way in which we can give back.”

The seminar, which is part of Tompkins Trust Company’s Community Events Series intended to promote equity within the communities in which it operates, will be led by Financial Planner John Knisley of Tompkins Financial Advisors. In his role, Knisley works with clients to identify their wealth management and financial planning needs while collaborating with a team of financial planners and analysts to deliver superior client service. Knisley stated, “I look forward to leading this important discussion and providing critical resources to make planning for retirement more accessible and understandable.”
