Eastern Security Services is the leading provider of professionally-monitored burglary alarm, fire alarm, video surveillance, access control, and intercom systems in CNY. Family-owned since 1976, this local business undertook a major expansion in 2023, and now has teams in Syracuse, Corning, Rochester and Buffalo, New York.  

In addition to opening new locations, Eastern Security Services also significantly grew its team in Syracuse. The company hired several new employees and added new positions, including Senior Service Engineer and Digital Content Manager. As the company keeps up with its growth, it’s constructing a new Syracuse headquarters at the corner of Solar and West Division Streets in Franklin Square. They hope to move into this space by the end of 2024. 

Eastern Security Service continues its commitment to protecting life and property with a new product offering: Mobile Surveillance Trailers. Nicknamed “Big Red,” this technology can be used to protect local construction sites, events, parking areas and other areas where crime is an issue. It will be monitored exclusively from UL-listed facilities, one of which is in Syracuse.  

Eastern Security Services’ record sales year was punctuated by President Cooper MacDonnell receiving the Central New York Business Journal’s 2023 CNY Family Business Leader of the Year award in December 2023.
