Economic Champion Spotlight: Pathfinder Bank

Pathfinder Bank is dedicated to bettering the communities where its employees live, work and play. For more than 160 years, Pathfinder has proudly served areas across Central New York, and continues its mission by expanding its presence in the Onondaga County market. Pathfinder’s newest branch, built inside a historic mansion on Syracuse’s Southside, will open this summer after interior renovations are complete.

With this branch, Pathfinder will provide an environment of trust to potential and existing customers in the South and Southwest corridors of Syracuse, offering a variety of economic opportunities, such as financial services, education, affordable loan and deposit products and services.

The W. Onondaga Street location will mark the fourth branch in Onondaga County and the second Syracuse location. It will provide new job opportunities, access to business prospects and personal banking needs. Pathfinder has preserved the historic features of the mansion that adds to the rich culture of Syracuse’s Southside.

Pathfinder Bank is excited to have Shynique Gainey join its team as the branch manager for this new location. Gainey was born and raised in Syracuse and her knowledge of the community will be an instrumental part of the branch’s success.
