Barton & Loguidice Grows Services in Pennsylvania with Latest Acquisition

Barton & Loguidice (B&L), a multi-disciplinary consulting firm that provides technical solutions to public and private clients with over 400 employees throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, welcomes Penn Central Engineering, LLC (PCE) to its growing team. PCE, with an office in State College, PA, specializes in structural engineering and project management consulting services to commercial, institutional and industrial clients in the state. This acquisition takes place two years after acquiring AJC Professional Services, LLC in Pittsburgh.

With this transaction, B&L will add an office in State College, PA, with PCE Founder, Jeffrey J. Vones, P.E., serving as Senior Managing Engineer and Branch Manager, overseeing the State College office and operations within the regional footprint.  This latest office addition brings the firm to a total of 16 offices in five states.

Vones has more than 20 years of experience in the design, construction and project management for industrial, commercial, and educational building facilities.  This includes his extensive experience providing OSHA-compliant equipment access and working platform design as well as structural analysis and building façade evaluations/rehabilitations for a variety of industrial and institutional clients. A graduate of Penn State University and professionally licensed in PA and NC, Vones also has a decorated military background, serving as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army for over 14 years in both active and reserve status.
