Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo Hosts Two Great Community Events:

LGBTQ+ Family Day of Visibility and Senior Citizen Appreciation Day

WHAT: Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo will present two exciting community events:

LGBTQ+ Family Day of Visibility and our second-annual Senior Citizen Appreciation Day

WHERE: Rosamond Gifford Zoo, 1 Conservation Place, Syracuse, NY 13204

DETAILS: LGBTQ+ Family Day of Visibility, Sunday, May 7 – Media Window: 10 a.m. to Noon

A special day celebrating the rainbow of families in our community! Enjoy special keeper talks, exhibitors, entertainment, activities and much more.

Senior Citizen Appreciation Day, Wednesday, May 10 – Media Window 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m.

Senior citizens (62 and older) will enjoy free zoo admission until noon, complimentary continental breakfast, special keeper talks, and access to senior-specific exhibitors. Tour the zoo and walk around the zoo’s scenic Wildlife Trail.
