Grossman St. Amour CPAs PLLC Announces Promotions

 Elizabeth A. Gardner, CPA has been promoted to Partner.  Liz joined the accounting firm in 2005 and works in the Tax Services Group.   She practices in the areas of financial statement preparation, income tax return preparation, pass-through entity taxation, and tax planning for businesses and individuals.  Her practice focus is providing proactive business and tax advisory services for closely held businesses, partnerships, corporations, and individuals.   Her clients include construction and real estate, physicians, medical practices and healthcare, and professional business services.   Liz is a graduate of Le Moyne College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.     She is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and serves on the Symphoria board of directors and Finance Committee.   Liz is a resident of Camillus, New York.

 


Adam L. Kroft, CPAhas been promoted to Manager.   Adam joined the accounting firm in 2017.   He works in the Tax Services Group and practices in the areas of income tax preparation, payroll and sales tax return preparation.   His clients include physicians and medical practices, manufacturing and distribution, real estate, retail, trucking and transportation, and individuals.    Adam is a graduate of State University of New York at Oswego with a Master of Business Administration in Public Accounting, and the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, magna cum laude.   He is a resident of Manlius, New York.   When asked what drew Adam to the accounting profession, he said “It seemed like an interesting and challenging career that would keep me on my toes."

Carolyn E. Heaviside has been promoted to Supervisor.   Caroline joined the accounting firm in 2019 after completing the Student Internship Program.   She works in the Audit Services Group, has successfully completed all parts of the CPA exam, and is awaiting licensure.   Caroline practices in the areas of audit and attest engagements and financial statement preparation.   Her clients include affordable housing, public school districts, and not-for-profit entities.  Caroline received a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Le Moyne College Madden School of Business, and an Associates in Arts, General Studies from Onondaga Community College.  Caroline is a resident of Syracuse, New York.   When asked what drew her to the accounting profession, she said “I was originally a hospitality major and had to take a “hospitality accounting” class and loved it so much I switched my major to accounting!”

Danielle L. McMahon has been promoted to Supervisor.  Danielle joined the accounting firm in 2018 after completing the Student Internship Program.   She works in the Tax Services Group and practices in the areas of income tax return preparation, tax planning for businesses and individuals, payroll and sales tax return preparation and bookkeeping.  She works on various clients across many different industries including real estate partnerships, medical practices and retail distribution.    Danielle is a graduate of Le Moyne College Madden School of Business with a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Accounting.    She is a member of the Syracuse Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants NextGen and a member of the Salvation Army Young Leaders Advisory Board.   Danielle is a resident of Liverpool, New York.    When asked what drew Danielle to accounting, she replied “I took an accounting class in high school and loved it!”


Kyle D. Norton, CPAhas been promoted to Supervisor.   Kyle joined the accounting firm in 2019 after completing the Student Internship Program.   He works in the Audit Services Group and practices in the areas of audit and attest engagements, financial statement preparation and Form 990 tax return preparation.  His clients include for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, including affordable housing, employee benefit plans, public school districts, and government and municipalities.    Kyle graduated from State University of New York at Oswego with a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and an Associates of Science in Business Administration from State University of New York Cayuga Community College.   He is a resident of Oswego, New York.    When asked what drew Kyle to the accounting profession, he said “I enjoyed mathematics and was searching for a career path that would constantly stimulate my brain.”
