The Oneida Indian Nation is a federally recognized Indian nation in Central New York. The Nation’s enterprises, which employ more than 5,000 people, include Turning Stone Resort Casino, YBR Casino & Sports Book, Point Place Casino, The Lake House at Sylvan Beach, The Cove at Sylvan Beach, Maple Leaf Markets, SāvOn Convenience stores, Verona Collective, a seed-to-sale cannabis operation, RV Park, marinas and more.
In 2024, the Oneida Indian Nation made historic investments in its workforce, capital projects and supply chain, exceeding $700 million.
“We know that if you are not moving forward, you are moving backward. Continuous investment is the only way to sustain that momentum,” said Ray Halbritter, Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Turning Stone Enterprises CEO.
The Nation’s capital investments include the $370 million Turning Stone Evolution, a generational investment by the Oneida Indian Nation in the largest expansion of its flagship enterprise in two decades. The massive project will double the resort’s existing conference and events space and add a new hotel, fine dining restaurant, outdoor event spaces and other amenities. When complete, the Evolution will make Turning Stone the largest conference destination in Upstate New York and one of just three venues of similar size and caliber in the entire state. These new amenities and offerings will build on the Nation’s $1 billion annual economic impact by the Nation.
